Jaipongan Performance at Matswapati

Guys!! Do you know Matswapati?? Matswapati is one event which was held by SMAN 3 Bandung. That event supossed for preserved indonesia's culture. There are Jaipongan performance, wayang performance, and others cultural performances. I stunned to see Jaipongan dance, so i am going to tell you about Jaipongan dance. 

Jaipongan is a dance that was born from the creativity of an artist from Bandung, Gugum Gumbira. He was inspired by the folk art one of them is Tilu Tap into treasury well know and recognize movement patterns that exist in traditional dance or Bajidoran Kliningan or Tap Tilu. So that he can develop a dance or art that is now known by the name Jaipongan.

The beginning of its history is In 1961, Indonesian President Sukarno challenged Indonesian musicians to revive the indigenous arts. The name jaipongan came from people mimicking of the sounds created by some of the drums in the ensemble. Audiences were often heard shouting jaipong after specific sections of rhythmic music were played. Jaipongan debuted in 1974 when Gugum Gumbira and his gamelan and dancers first performed in public.

Dance Jaipongan today can be called as one of the West Javanese dances, looks at important events arrival of guests from foreign countries who came to West Java, always welcomed with dance performances Jaipongan. Jaipongan dance this much influence on other art-art that is in West Java, both in art wayang, gamelan, and other Genjring has even collaborated with Modern dangdut.

Now, Indonesia’s young generation have fogotten their own culture, the popularity of Jaipongan has decreased. Therefore, Matswapati, cultural Festival which was held by SMAN 3 Bandung senior high school, showed Jaipong dance.

At 27 September 2014, The four dancer of Jaipongan from Jugala Raya studio was beautiful with good make up. They wore pink kebaya and samping batik, they danced skillfully. The other atribute which they used was sword. I didn’t really know what musical instrumen which accompanied them, but usually Jaipongan accompany with gamelan.

Matswapati have us realize that Jaipong dance is not boring dance, but cool dance. I belive that someday Jaipong dance will be popular because us, Indonesia’s young generation.

Now is our time to preserve Jaipongan. We are Indonesia’s young generation, so if not us, who else? If not now, when? Spirit Indonesia!! I love you.

My New Friend

Anjaly Gita Sutedja 

Hello! Now I want to tell you about my new friend. Her name’s Anjaly Gita Sutedja but she said to me, just call her Anya. I met her when extra English lesson in my school. When I saw her in the first time, i thought that she is not cheerful girl, but that’s wrong, apparently she likes to smile.  We talked for the first time when my teacher ask us to play the games with new friend. The game that we played is, we must choose the wrong statement from our friend said, as usual that smile is appeared from her lips when she said the statement. Anya won the game, She is good guesser.

Anya is beautiful girl, she has curly black hair, she is tall and has fair skin. She is very cute with her ellipse glasses. I seldom accept people easily, but Anya has natural character, that is the reason why I like her in the first time we met.

Anya was born in Bandung 10 February 1999. She doesn’t have a brother, but she has 1 sister. She was born of Bambang Sutedja and Lita Sukmawati. Her father is private employee and her mother is house wife like my mother. She lives with her family at Melania street No 34.

Her previous school is at 14 Junior High School. Now she is at X science 5 in 3 Senor High School. The lesson that she likes in SHS is art, maybe because she can explore her creativity in that lesson. I think she has unique hobby, she likes photography. You must now, She wants to be businesswoman, woww, I seldom hear my friends want to be businesswoman, usually everybody wants to be doctoc or architec but She is different from the other (y). Because tht dream, she hopes she can go to SBM ITB.

She has an idol, as usual teenager idol, she loves EXO very much. She has many favorite songs, but the most favorite songs she likes is the script songs. As always Weekend is free day, so she can sleep all the times but she doesn’t forget her responbility to study and do many homework.

Anya is cheerful girl, everybody will love her because her natural character. You won’t regret to know her, I suggest you to make friend with Anya, you will learn to accept yourself.

Myself

Hello guys. Here I want to tell you about myself. My name is Diana Fauziyyah, but you can call me Diana. I was born in Bandung in the 18th of December 1998, so I will be 16 years old this year. I am 2nd child of 1 brother and 1 sister, actually my sister is my twin. now, I am student of SMAN 3 Bandung, overthere I hope I can be the good student. My previous school is at 5 JHS, Karangpawulang 1 Elementary school, Matla’ulhuda and Pertiwi Kindergarten.

I was born of Asep Sutendi and Yanti Kurniati. My Father is Businessman and my mother is a housewife. I love them very much, someday I will make them happy. Aamiin. As I said, I have 1 brother and 1 sister, My brother’s name is M. Farhan F. I call him Aa, now he goes to telkom university. And My sister’s name is Diane Fauziyyah, I call her nene or dedek, We always together, and I will be feeling silent without her, we went to the same school since kindergarten till Junior High school, but now we goes to different school, she goes to 8 SHS L.  At the first time I feel sad, but now we are happy at each our own school. After school I and Diane often have a story and we always share that story each other. We have different dream. I hope we can success although in different way.

 One of my dream is to be a minister. I love Indonesia, I want Indonesia to be a great country. To be a great country, Indonesia must have some good leaders. InsyaAllah, there will new generation who can make Indonesia, strong, good, and to be roles models all country. Aamiin.

My hobby is swimming, I love swimming because I feel it can make me relax. I enjoy reading book too, and I love all books I have read :D. When I was in Junior High School, I often joined competition, and I often lost too, hahahha, but I always try harder to be the best every competition. My favorite food is cheese burger, that food is the most delicious burger, actually I want to eat cheese burger everyday, but I know that food is not good for my healt, so i just eat it when i really want .

Talk about me, I think I am a girl who has many dreams, I have big motivation in this life, but the part I don’t like is, sometimes I feel my dreams are too high for me and I am inappropriate to get my dream, YES, I am not confident person. Other negative personalities I have is mushy, I am not strong when I get problem, I often cry whereas I know my tear doesn’t solve my problem but my spririt always up when I remember one sentence, that sentence is “Everything happens for a reason”. My positive personalities are, hmm....I think I am honest, reliable, and diligent person.

In this life I hope I can take lessons from my mistakes, grab all my dreams and happy life.
